We want to empower customers and humanise insurance which is clearly no small challenge. But we’re bringing a wealth of experience and passion to the table to help enable this.

The world moves forward when we work together, as partners, allies, equals. That’s why we partner with like-minded people and organisations creating a community to drive actionable change for women. A portion of our profits is given to women focused charities and organisations with a shared vision to help improve the lives of women.

At 24, I rebuffed conformity and set up my first insurance company, acutely aware that it was traditionally considered a male-dominated, almost-sterile industry. The irony wasn’t lost on me…

Over 20 years, I’ve built a number of businesses in the UK, turning over in excess of GBP 18 million and employing over 200 people. I believe in building businesses that work for everyone: the people they employ, the communities they operate in and the customers they serve… I passionately believe that we need more women in this environment, in the financial services sector, and in politics. Why? Whoever controls the money makes the rules. Which leads me to Stella; a brand that’s thinking differently.

Renee is changemaker, mother and a leader in the insurance industry. Focused on driving change in the the financial services industry and the wider community to create a world with endless opportunity for every woman.

A proud mother of two little girls, Renee wants her daughters and all women to have the right to equal opportunities, equal pay and fundamental rights as a whole. She will continue to advocate for women through her leadership in the insurance industry.

When she takes her GM hat off you’ll find her playing dress-ups with her girls, binge watching Netflix with her hubby or kicking back enjoying a (big) glass of red.

Anita is a seasoned marketing leader with a stella track record of building brands, making creative ideas a reality and connecting with customers to deliver successful business outcomes.

A resolute optimist, she has a vision to change the way we think, act, and operate to drive change for a better world, particularly for women. She’s the proud mum of two beautiful children who are her source of inspiration each and every day.

Outside of Stella, she’s keeping active, always on the search for the best coffee and planning her next holiday!

Content Producer

Lisa has been a content producer for over 7 years, she lives and breathes all things social and strives to keep her finger on the pulse when it comes to the issues facing females world wide.

Her most prized content piece is the Stella Women Series where she interviews the game changers and trailblazing women in Australia and amplifies their stories though the Stella Networks.

When she’s off duty you’ll find her hanging on the beach with her dog Levi or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.


Stella Insurance has partnered with The #FlyAnyway Foundation as we recognised our shared desire of empowering women and building gender equality. With 1 in 4 women experiencing some form of violence from an intimate partner we knew this was a movement that we as a business needed to support.

The #FlyAnyway Foundation exists to give back autonomy and to empower women and families who experience domestic abuse so that they can build financial stability and to help break the cycle of domestic abuse. We are working directly with The #FlyAnyway Foundation to deliver on their plans to develop through 5 stages of growth – Business Building, Removing Barriers to Employment, Crisis Support, Post Crisis Support and eventually, building a national network of refuges and safe relocation services.

They provide business growth services to women who would, otherwise, be unable to access the expertise and services needed to grow a business from accounts to marketing and everything in between, at the same time as being supported by trauma-informed specialists.  

We work with The #FlyAnyway Foundation to break the cycles of violence, intergenerational trauma and socioeconomic disadvantage. Equally, our work with #FlyAnyway addresses the underlying structural causes of domestic and family violence, homelessness, and gender inequality.

The Stella Insurance x @FlyAnyway partnership aims to empower individuals and communities to end gender-based violence so that there is no more 1 in 4.
